Adopt-A-Family
The holiday season proves especially difficult for the families we serve, as parents who struggle to provide their family's basic needs are forced to explain to their child why they cannot afford to buy that special toy. Each December, generous donors help to make the holidays a little brighter for local families in need by donating gifts as well as gas and grocery cards.
This year, donors brought holiday cheer to over 1,400 children, supporting 545 families in Orange County. The impact on these families is best reflected in their own words:
"My daughter and I are extremely grateful for your family's kindness during this holiday season. This has been an especially trying year for my family and you came to my family's aid right in the nick of time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity."
