Each year Families Forward holds a Thanksgiving-themed grocery distribution for local families in need. The weekend before Thanksgiving local families come to us to receive all of the traditional Thanksgiving fixings to make a warm, delicious holiday meal with children participating in fun-filled activities such as face painting and arts & crafts while their parents pick up their baskets.

Last year, staff, joined by board members and over 250 spirited volunteers, all got involved to help make the day special. With everyone's help, we were able to provide almost 700 families with a special holiday meal.
