Posted @withregram • @ocgov Orange County Housing Authority (OCHA) is opening the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) waiting list and accepting applications from September 18, 2023, 8:00 a.m. and ending September 29, 2023, 11:59 p.m. PDT.

The Housing Choice Voucher Program assists very low-income families, the elderly and the disabled to afford healthy and safe housing.

Exciting news! We're thrilled to share that Families Forward has been awarded a generous $500,000 grant from SDGE's (San Diego Gas & Electric) Community Assistance Fund!

With 1 in 3 households in our county struggling to meet their most basic needs, SDGE's Community Assistance Fund is making a $10 million difference in the lives of those facing housing and food challenges. We're proud to be among the 21 recipients (one of only two in Orange County) chosen out of 150 applicants to continue to provide essential services to South Orange County families in need. Thank you so much SDGE!
