Mission
Develop local, motivated leaders and advocates who support Families Forward’s mission and values, while contributing to the greater need of Orange County.
Objectives
This group will be actively involved in driving meaningful conversations and real change by confronting societal issues head-on.
- Serve as advocates and ambassadors of Families Forward.
- Collaborate and leverage professional and social networks to advance Families Forward’s mission to prevent and end family homelessness.
- Increase awareness of the Families Forward mission by building community throughout Orange County.
- Utilize your expertise and develop solutions to challenges faced by local families and nonprofits.
- Provide support for special events, fundraising campaigns, and volunteer-related activities.
- Consult on campaigns and initiatives related to brand awareness and advocacy.
- Develop a deeper understanding and receive exposure to non-profit operations, strategic planning and Board leadership.
- Plan an activity or event annually that focuses specifically on new member recruitment and or fundraising.
